Derpibooru Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Relief Thread

I was recently forced to buy a new computer. It’s taken several days to set everything up, including logging back into all of the websites I frequent, including Ponybooru and Derpibooru.

I’m experiencing the inverse of the technical issues we had over the summer, where Ponybooru works fine but Derpibooru has trouble loading.

At first I was having trouble loading all resource-intensive sites, including Youtube, but after a lot of fiddling with settings I eventually got it so that every site works well or decently…

Except Derpibooru. It’s still sluggish as fuck. It struggles to load images and often just gives up without fully loading them, which defeats the purpose of having an imagebooru in the first place.
I never had issues with Ponybooru or the other altboorus though. So I assume it must be an issue of site design, especially if Youtube can load faster than a site that only hosts images and gifs.

How have so many leftist scum taken over that website?

It just seems to foster it. I kinda lost it at the guy who unironically thinks that Donald Trump was born in Nazi Germany.

derpibooru is fucking gay and always was. why they didn’t end up on doxbin is a problem that should be fixed.

I’m convinced that the majority of site staff all have gondii.

Derpi may as well be an extreme free speech forum when compared to the no fun zone that is e6. Yiffers have no sense of joy.

This. I lurked there a few times out of morbid curiosity, and I can attest that the people running that site are somehow even bigger tranny ass-kissers than the Derpi admins. Some of their users threw a massive tantrum over the use of tags like ‘dickgirl’ (because that’s ‘transphobic language,’ you see), and the staff responded by replacing them with made up words that nobody uses. I guess they’re just a miserable pack of wolves.

The Political thread has been a non-stop tantrum after claiming their enemy are the crybabies. They gaslit themselves into believes Trump is actually going to take away their porn when in reality the left they cling has been doing that considering a lot of porn on that site is now illegal to post there now but that was a good thing. Considering their inaction against that spammer sort of tells why they think that.

There was a user in the politics thread, A Violet Rose in The Rain, who would always post some of the more hard-left posts. Full-on communism, sometimes. And was generally vitriolic with others.

It seems he is gone now, and won’t be returning. But what I think is particularly noteworthy is that I seem to be the only one who has brought this up since his going missing.

Perhaps, even if you’re only talking about Derpi, the lesson here is that the politics is not something people will remember you for in the longrun as well as they make it seem.

I’ve watched so many over these years broken down to the point of suicide, that place has become a liberal dumping ground.

I’m serious, he actually cannot stop. For the same reason an evangelical will never stop trying to work the name “Jesus” into every single sentence they ever say, no matter how inappropriate or forced. (Not that talking about Jesus is a bad thing mind, but when someone just goes on about it on and on and on forever and can never just talk to you about say - a new game, or the footy scores, or the new workplace policy like a normal person, it gets grating. Time and place for everything)

Because for those inclined to that side of politics, the State is god. The giver of life and bringer of death, the Power and the Glory, the One True Path. It is the moral arbiter, control of the state is to be the moral mandate.

The problem with this kind of person is that their delusional, hysterical rhetoric and ingratiation into their own safe spaces to a degree that they literally don’t even know what their opposition actually believes, that it becomes almost impossible to distinguish a real one from a ChatGPT replication of one.

Derpibooru is a community built around a cartoon for little girls, which later switched to be a community revolving around pornography, bestialism, sex fetishes, forced diversity, mental disability glorification and lots of angry, self pity rants.
If you go there and expect lucid users having meaningful conversations about important topics, you are clearly on the wrong turf.
