There isn't a particular reason for jannies to delete posts selectively, moreso_*these_* kind of posts, so it's most likely the users themselves doing it.
No, it's not in any way a guarantee that it's actually derpi staff posting, and not just whiteknights/their pet autists. There's certainly no way to tell by degree of retardation. But the pattern of rugsweeping is there.
