@Amagan I was just reading an interesting article describing the steps socialist economists go through when they see a socialist country like Venezuela.
1. The country shows early signs of success, and they praise it, saying how great Socialism is.
2. It starts to crumble. They question some of its policies.
3. It falls apart, and they claim it was either due to circumstances entirely out of the country's control, or even more commonly they claim that it was never true Socialism.
