They won’t do it because it requires producing things the economy actually needs with the bought-out factories, as opposed to the things that will produce the most immediate profit, i.e. it requires government to be not capitalists or bought out by them.  
Same way South Korea forced their farmers to plant, IIRC, fabric crops (needed) instead of tea (profitable), with unfortunate side effect of essentially ending tea production, but still. Same way they forced their industry to build cars and a massive steel foundry (with no iron/coal in the country, mind you) instead of “immediately profitable” shit, and now have 1/3 of the entire planet’s steel smelting facilities.

I’m sure the DA will be charging him real soon now, right? And if he doesn’t, the US Attorney for that region will, because that’s federal law. Right? Any time now, right? Real soon now, right? Any day now. Because we have the rule of law in this country, and laws mean something. The legal system isn’t just an arbitrary and capricious exercise of power against badthinkers. Right? Right?
