Bonicle, a lego line, honestly, some of the lego themes you mentioned in that brief conversation we had on legos were very close or overlapping around the time of early Bionicle so I am pretty sure you at least know of it. This was something revealed towards the end though. The “universe” was inside a giant robot that was controlled by a spirit called Mata Nui. Though he was kicked out and Teridax, the main antagonist of the franchise, briefly ruled.

I looked it up and it is indeed, Mata Nui

@Humble Oriathan
No, but I know we might be do for one that causes that… maybe.

@TeamBlueplant
It’s all a vague mush to us. I have seen some pretty sad cases regarding not even knowing certain more famous states. I suppose to be fair I have heard a lot of other countries have this problem more then portrayed but I still suspect we have a general lack of knowledge of the world pretty bad.

Could this be push humanity needs to go back to a more normal, simplistic lifestyle where everyone actually knows how to talk to each other face to face without swearing or relying on caption images to drive a point?

Sweet Christ, I hope not…

@TheBridge
Oh. Yeah, the guy who sent it to me said something about Bionicle. Afraid I don’t know anything about it. I checked out of Lego right as that was getting started. In fact that was part of the reason why; they’re not Lego, nor were some of the other things they were pushing.

Wonder how long until the “Fuck Joe Biden” chants make their way to professional sportsball games?

Not gonna lie when I say I can’t stand seeing Presidents get attacked like that, Biden or Trump. Even if Biden could certainly deserves it. Maybe I am just insane.

Here is a slightly interesting article on all of this, claiming that the Barstool Conservatives are the ones driving it and are doing a more effective job at culture war then Conservative Inc I have yet to dive into the topic of Barstool Conservatism in depth so I can’t say it’s correct or not. As for Barstool Conservatism in general, to me, for as new and novel as some describe it, we do have have the term South Park Republican that does bear similarities though I think the Barstool Conservatives would be distinctly more right leaning in a few areas.

They booed him and his wife at some sporting event awhile back. Wasn’t it the super bowl with all those cardboard cutouts in the stands instead of actual people. Even the cutouts booed Biden, I bet, since even for being made of cardboard, they each can hold down a basic conversation better than him.

It’s been four and a half years, but the only films I remember watching in grade school were Bill Nye episodes, Magic School Bus (even well into Senior year), Big Eyes, and some WWII movies. College was a different story, but grade school I don’t remember any social engineering bullshit. Except for the fat dyke science teacher starting some “day of silence” shit so the queers could draw attention to themselves.

People would scream “centerist” seeing this (which I don’t mind), but your views always struck me as a bit of off compared to what groupings people would try to place you based on what I’ve seen.

I actually thought of this last night or this morning in bed. My views are indeed a bit off. I’ve always felt like I’m living surrounded by martians. It’s like people are wearing bras on their heads, walking on their hands, and talking backwards. It’s obvious I’m dealing with intelligent life that possesses a complex society, it’s just the most bizarre stuff I can imagine.

Explaining the colors, in case anyone asks. Red is historically the color of socialism, blue is historically the color of republicanism, and green is my favorite color.

This is looking down along the X and Z axes. If we were to look at it as a “traditional” political spectrum, along the X and Y axes, my views would appear strongest toward the center, but it expands into 3 dimensions, and I don’t feel like making a 3D chart.

They made us put on a “play” with about a dozen songs. All but one of them were about 40 seconds long. The final one was a song about how amazing and selfless and wise teachers are. It was about three minutes long. The other grades didn’t get excused from classes to watch, either; it was pretty much exclusively for the faculty. They straight up fucking masturbated themselves with us.

@Officer Hotpants
We did do dumb concerts, but I don’t remember what the songs were. When the faculty wanted to jack themselves off to a job well done they’d just include it in the year-end concert they performed themselves.

Also had a teacher get really mad at the Sheriff’s Department because the DARE officer went into a spiel about gun safety during one of his sessions. Unrelated to anything that’s being discussed, but it was in the same room and I remembered it.

I kind of get that. But it just pushes me into misanthropic apathy.

Where do you get motivation to write whole books and stuff?

Fluttershy’s “war crimes” were totally justified.

Maybe the White House should take a look at their own instead.

Remember those Gallup Poll numbers I posted about two weeks back? In which Biden had the lowest recorded approval rating of any president?

Well funny thing…

History apparently changed. Somehow his lowest rating rose by 15 points, conveniently taking him out of the lowest 10 by bumping him up to 11th place.
