Ah yes, “indigenous peoples day”, the day when Adolf Whitemankiller and Chief The Whitest Person I Have Ever Seen ignore their own history of slavery, cannibalism, infanticide, constant warfare, environmental destruction, hunting species to extinction, rape, murder, and pillage (seriously, why do all the “Indians” have blond hair and blue eyes and milky white skin?) and ignore their absolute total dependence on white inventions like electricity, clean water, indoor plumbing, internal combustion engine, petrochemicals, modern agriculture, alcohol (they love that one so much rates of alcoholism on reservations is miles higher than anywhere else), every single game that’s played in an “Indian” casino, and the money too both paper and credit, concrete, vulcanized rubber, anything and everything made of metal other than gold and silver, medicine, surgery, the welfare state, Western clothing, refrigeration, central heating, air conditioning, paved roads, and a legal system run by people who are far far more tolerant of diversity than their own tribes ever were when they lived alone on the continent, and shit all over one of the most tolerant white men who has ever lived, who punished, with death at times, his own men who raped “native” women. How’s that for a run-on sentence?
“Native” and “Indigenous”. They can kiss the hairiest part of my ass. I was born here to parents who were born here to grandparents who were born here. What, because my ancestors came here on a boat (in the 1920s to escape Mussolini) and their ancestors came here on a glacier I’m somehow inauthentic? They can fuck off, and then they can fuck off fucking off.
The first European to enter America is a tough one. Leif Erickson is the first who is credited in the year 1000, and then “officially” no one else came until Columbus in 1492.
And yes, he did discover America. It’s possible to discover something that was lost centuries ago. And yes, he did discover America even though he didn’t step foot in the United States, he did land in Venezuela and explore, and South America is still part of America.
Of course we can look at material culture of the pre-tribal inhabitants of the continent, we can very clearly see that pre-Clovis technology very closely resembles Solutrean material culture, indicating that the Americas were colonized not only across the Bering Strait from Asia but also across the Atlantic ice sheet from Europe. This is why giving Kennewick Man over to tribes to re-inter, destroying the remains so we can never learn about the first people who came here, is bullshit. Kennewick Man pre-dates all the extant tribes by thousands of years.
Of course you can’t mention the Solutrean Hypothesis without being called “racist” but no one has ever proven that racism is bad, and the fact that racism is hardwired into our brains and has served the vital function of keeping infants safe by instilling in-group preference prior to 100 years ago when 99% of people never even saw anyone of a different race, so I don’t care what people call me. “Racist” as far as I’m concerned, is the highest badge of honor anyone can bestow upon you at this point, since it’s an admission that the other person has lost the argument.
There is evidence that other Europeans had reached the Americas prior to Columbus, including the Portuguese who may have reached Puerto Rico in 1420. Portuguese sailing charts were what Columbus was using.
He was searching for an island called Antillia, which is the same size and shape as Puerto Rico and sits at roughly the same longitude. And when you view the island on a polar projection the orientation switches from horizontal to vertical, exactly the same as seen on the Portuguese charts.
The identification with Antillia and the islands surrounding it with the islands of the Caribbean is nothing new. It has been a stubborn hypothesis from the very beginning of the age of exploration. On his 1492 globe German mariner and geographer Martin Behaim placed Antilia along the Tropic of Cancer, just slightly to the north of Cuba. Peter Martyr d’Anghiera, a Spanish historian writing in 1511, explicitly states that Columbus reached Antillia on his voyages.
I fucking love Christopher Columbus (Christoforo Colombo - got to shout out my Italian homie).
Vespucci’s first voyage was in 1499, possibly, seven years after Columbus. Maybe it was 1502. Vespucci is well known for making shit up and might never have sailed anywhere. For almost a century both “America” and “Paria”, which is what Columbus himself named South America, were used interchangeably as names for the New World. People just liked the way “America” sounded better.
China is the most colonial nation on the planet and leftist love them and suck steaming logs of shit directly out of Xi Jinping’s asshole. They began their very existence by conquering and subjugating other nations and calling it “peaceful liberation” (the four smaller stars on the Chinese flag represent the non-Chinese who were subjugated). They’ve stolen territory from Vietnam, Malaysia, and the Philippines in the South China Sea, they’ve tricked Russia into building an oil pipeline for a much lower price than the actual cost of construction by flat out refusing to pay after it was built, and have set up colonies in Africa where living conditions are so bad the people there are begging the British to come back and rule them again! China has genuine Nazi-style concentration camps where they keep 3 million Uyghurs, they spy on Mongolians and prevent them from living a nomadic life (more Mongolians live in “China” (“Inner Mongolia”) than live in Mongolia itself).

I actually like androgyny, but I like the mature, sexy kind exemplified by the likes of David Bowie, not the disgusting, degenerate, obese-loving, sickness-loving, weakness-loving soydrogyny that comes from everyone ingesting too much lab-grown estrogen.
