for most countries the age of majority, age of consent, legal drinking and smoking age, etc, is 18  
as a result, 18 is the arbitrary age that you become an adult according to most people (which is fucking stupid imo)
 
there are of course countries where the minimum age of consent is 16, but usually there are other laws prohibiting things like the exchange of sexual imagery for example, where under 18 years old they are still considered a minor

This shit has been going on since Al Gore v George Bush. Only this time it was straight up obvious. I wouldn’t be surprised that they try to done it back in 2016, but they didn’t expected Trump back then to win due to his harsh rhetoric.
 
Now you have 49% of the republicans believe the votes were ridded, court cases dismissing these claims and not address it, the normalization of 8 months of violence riots last year, These unconstitutional mask lockdowns that are destroying small businesses and boosting the elites businesses, Constant smearing by the Media for four years. So you got the Capital hill situation and I’m not even surprised at all. Because the only way they see to get shit done is to bring fear to the government, not by talked to them.

No, seriously, those were my two reactions to that whole Trixie is trans non-sense.
 
It’s not that it’s Trixie or transgender, it’s about how the people in support of the notion act and treat others, specifically me. I’m like most other people, I don’t like being insulted or accused of something straight out of the blue. If someone chooses to do those things to me, then they’ll be met with even more of the same if not something much worse.
 
Violence begets violence.

Hate breeds hate.
 
 
Hopefully, I didn’t insult anyone. It’s just the best example of a recent issue that demonstrates the difference in the reactions due to the manner in which the message is conveyed.
 
I don’t really care about transgender people, but if you push me, I do believe in pushing back.

Trump’s campaign haven’t even filed a dozen lawsuits. They filed three, last I read a few weeks ago. And looking it up now, the biggest I could find was an article claiming he filed 10. Anyone else filing lawsuits independently were named as “allies”.
 
They hardly “lost” anything either. Most of them, the judges just went “meh, not interested. Dismissed.”
 
The one lawsuit I loved the most was where observers weren’t allowed to observe the ballots. And the judge went “meh, as long as they’re in the building, no matter how far away they were forced to move, even if they’ve been kicked out of the room, they count as observers”. Riiiiight.

Could we bring George W back from the dead? He might be the only one who could fix all this shit.

I understand that. Politics is toxic and mutual respect is low. Avoiding it’s stench on you is a virtue. I, even with extreme disagreement, have enjoyed talking passively to others with different political outlooks, though I know the normal mode for most is to just get angry or feel threatened right away.

George W Bush, during his regime and sometime before and after, was referred to just as W. People often compared him to a monkey, both in terms of appearance and intelligence. He was actually quite smart, smart enough to win the presidency twice and graduated with a slightly better GPA from the same school as John Kerry who was allegedly a super genius. W was a fantastic actor and he played stupid brilliantly to distract the public from his behind the scenes machinations.
