I feel dumb being so late to the thread but does anyone have an idea of where to start learning fundamentals from ground up? I’m not a huge fan of books but can deal, but I really want to improve in both pony art, and art in general (humans, landscapes, anything I really feel like). Just kind of tired of going nowhere for so long, and I don’t want to get trapped in “muh style” meme. Desperately looking for some direction that goes beyond nebulous “just, like, get good lmao” tier tips, without assuming I’m above my current skill level.
From what I can tell, “form” is what’s best to start with? What is the best way to practice and understand form?
