It’s really old and unfunny, but darn it I’m gonna sidestep the meme anyway.

Also, I’d like to clarify something from the last note. When I said I couldn’t stand zombies, some people took that to mean in the sense that they’re played out and prolific and I’m a massive hipster*. No, for me, I’m actually legitimately scared of apocalypse-grade infectious undead, no matter how played out they are by this point. The very concept gets under my skin. So you can imagine my reaction to the last, oh, decade or so.

*I am a bit of a hipster, though. Evidenced by that I run my podcast using a homebrew tabletop system you’ve probably never heard of.

DM: Turns out it’s Pipsqueak who wants to talk to you. <roll>
Pipsqueak: Um, Princess Luna? I know you don’t like the zombies and all, but…
Twilight Sparkle: See?
Princess Luna: Shush. It is… no matter, child. Zombies do not bother me all that much. Continue.
DM: <sigh> <scribble> Here.
Rainbow Dash: Hm?
Pipsqueak: Oh, well… In that case, could you maybe come back for next year’s Nightmare Night and scare us again?
Pinkie Pie: Hooray!
Applejack: Whew! Mission accomplished.
Fluttershy: Good job, everyone.
Princess Luna: Good, the plan worked. I mean, er, you actually like me to scare you? What an odd notion.
Rainbow Dash: <gasp>
Pipsqueak: Yeah, it’s really fun. Scary, but-
