So let’s go back to an older drawing and introduce another next gen kid.

It’s connected to the time Flurry Heart participated in the guard cadet’s training and got in an accident. She was training with a partner, when she tripped and fell. While her partner was all concerned about her, she couldn’t help but feel like the stallion is familiar from somewhere. And that’s when it clicked for her. She met him years ago when both of them were foals, he was the son of one of the guards in the palace.
After the accident Flurry and the stallion, Skylancer, talked and they became fast and best friends. They hang out together and even became each others sparring partners.
Later down the line, when Skylancer started his full service as a guard, he also become Flurry’s bodyguard.

Real quick introduction to Skylancer, son of Flash Sentry and Golden Hooves. He’s going get a bio pic down the line too, but first I wanted to do something that also shows his relationship with Flurry.

Mostly gone with a my simple style for this one (expect for the last panel of course). It works way to well for snippets of a story like this.

Btw, Skylancer is not short Flurry just tall. Not Celestia level tall, but a bit taller than Cadance.
