After Sunny Smile quit his position as the Apprentice Tickler of the Canterlot Palace Dungeon, Cruelfeather was looking for a new student to fill the void. Eight months later, he was given the Strap Twins: a pair of tickling bandits from the back-alleys of Canterlot. The Tickler was impressed when he heard about their modus operandi, the way they would work together to take down their victims…and he took pleasure in giving them a dose of their own medicine. >:)
 
But he also took interest in the reaction of his prisoners as he mercilessly tickled them, day after day. It was by far, the most intense feeling of their lives, one that gave them a genuine fear and dread when he stopped by for their daily torment…but there was something else as well. He could see it in their eyes, even through the tears of laughter.
 
It fascinated them.  
The skill their captor showed at his craft, his expertise with tickling. He knew they loved to tickle their victims and he could tell they craved that kind of knowledge, that kind of domination for themselves. Indigo and Velvet feared Cruelfeather, as everypony in his care did…but strangely enough, they also admired him.  
And that gave him a wonderful idea.
 
Once their sentence was up, they would be going straight back to the gutter with nothing to their names at all…such a waste, he thought. So instead, he approached Princess Celestia and asked her for a concession. The Strap Twins would have their sentences reduced to one month, on condition that they would be obligated to remain with Cruelfeather for tutelage. The expectation being that they would become the Royal Ticklers themselves once he was no longer fit for duty.
 
And that was how Indigo and Velvet became his new Apprentices, a role which they’ve taken to with enthusiasm and gusto. They regard Cruelfeather not only as a Mentor but also a foster father figure, one whom they are always eager to impress. So it turned out being caught was the best thing that ever happened to them after all… ;3
 
 
And there it is. I’m done uploading Tickler Ponies for a while…but I need to use them more in future pics.
