Special skills/magical powers/etc: Since she’s half-fox, she has the ability to hunt down her enemies, and wears an amulet that can turn her into a fox (I know the amulet is absent in this ref, but I’m still working on it )
 
Backstory: Born to a race of ponies that can turn into animals, Harper Fox was crowned with a fox amulet, so she could turn into a fox whenever she wanted to. Growing up, her family (especially her father) was very harsh toward her, that she rebelled against her family. One day, she was so mad and stressed about her father’s authoritarian expectations, that she attacked and lashed out at him to vent her anger. Her father threatened her with death or violence if she went her own ways, which worsened the attack. When her mom found out about this, she stood up for her by fighting him back.
 
After the attack, Harper’s mom decided to take her away from the forest for the sake of her daughter’s safety. At one point, however, her mom grew very ill, and it was very hard for her to fend for herself and Harper. She died eventually, and by that point, Harper was orphaned.
 
Young Harper ended up being taken into foal protective services by the Royal Guards of Canterlot. There, she had to wait for a new family to come and take her in. She eventually found an older, widowed mare, who reminded Harper so much like her biological mother, to take her in. It took a while for Harper to get used to living in Canterlot with her new mother, since she was fairly strict and all, but they still got along very well, and Harper saw her new mother as her actual mother.
 
Canterlot was also a place where Harper began making new friends and trying new things. She also learned a lot during her life in Canterlot. Her new mom would take her out to various restaurants and places as long as Harper was well-behaved and did good at school. Harper also tried a lot of things. At first, she took cooking class, but was disillusioned upon discovery that it was harder and more complicated than she thought. However, one of Harper’s true passions was art and creativity. She gave up cooking for art, and made a whole bunch of portraits, all of which were well received at an art show. Harper earned her cutie mark for it, making her new mother proud.
 
Ever since then, Harper has shown off her art skills to everyone, especially her friends. She eventually got a girlfriend when she found out that they both had the same passion for art together, despite their differences (Though, it took a while for them to get to know each other more.). However, Harper also had to deal with bullying and judgment for her looks and traits, but she was mostly bullied for not wanting to learn how to cook. As it turned out, she was mostly comfortable in baking and making desserts. Despite these things, as well as her love of learning, however, it was impossible for Harper to get out of her “comfort” zone in culinary.
 
Like most ponies, Harper had crushes growing up. Before she had a girlfriend, she had a crush on Charming Rocker during his rise to fame (and low-key had a crush on Moon Heart as well when Harper found out that they were dating.), but eventually got over him, because she knew she had much better things to worry about than someone whom she fancied being in a relationship. During her obsession with Rocky, she would write fanfics about being together with him and such, but she never shared them with anyone, not even her new mother.
 
Since Harper still remembers her birth mother, every night on a full moon, when Harper sleeps, a ghost of her mother would watch her, and Harper dreams that someday, she and her birth mom will be back together again.
