About six months ago, I went and designed a bat pony meant to be a stand-in for myself on a web forum. The bat pony’s design was taken in part from Ryuko Matoi of the anime Kill la Kill, as evidenced by her mane. At the time, she had a cutie mark of the Starcraft II Protoss emblem and went by the name Nightstalker, in reference to the Stalker unit, though I’d not been particularly pleased with those last two details.
 
Time would pass, and I eventually came to use her design again in registering in an RP community that I unironically do not roleplay in at all. Part of the registration I was asked to create a backstory and a memorable name. So here we have Evening Script, columnist for a Hollow Shades newspaper, and former spy. Her special talent is writing, and her cutie mark is an exploding tag [the kanji literally reads explode].
