Emerald decides to go and see the temple to Marjani.
 
He and Ruby exit out the front door and walk straight across to the temple. The worship building is as long as the building he just left, but only one floor topped with a rounded tile roof. It is however, attached to a rather large and ornate tower to the south.
 
The pair enter through the front doors and are met by a zebra sitting behind a desk chatting to another zebra. The one sitting behind the desk is wearing a ceremonial garb of some kind. It consists of a grass skirt and a smiling mask, which he is wearing up so that he can see who he is talking to.
 
The ceremonial zebra catches the eye of Emerald and says,
 
“Ah, waiting for the ritual to start? It’s always nice to see people come to the mid-day ritual. Too many people working so it’s the least populated one. You are a few minutes early child, but feel free to walk around the worship area. We’ll announce when we start.” He says with a smile, gesturing to an open pair of doors beside him.
 
Emerald peers into the room and sees a long, rather sparsely furnished room. There are only two things that are decorated. The floor which is covered in individual rugs to sit on, and a raised platform on the back wall containing some sort of idols, potion bottles, and a statue of some sort of black… Tree perhaps?
 
There are a few groups of zebras here chatting. Most of them seem to be students, and he even hears one joke about praying for good grades.
